What is e1 certified?
The emission classes denote the amount of formaldehyde released from wood-based materials. This distinction is made between classes E1, E2, and E3, with the class E1 having the lowest amount of emission.

The Green Guide to Specification is used in conjunction with the Building Research Establishment's Environmental Assessment Method, BREEAM and provides designers and specifiers with guidance on how to select construction products with low environmental impact to improve the sustainability of the built environment.
